Introduction

Hi everyone!  Welcome to EDU 412.  I look forward to getting to know everyone and  learning about your advocacy plans.  I wrote my research paper about the effects of trickle-down academics on children today.  Trickle-down academics is the current trend of pushing our education standards and goals on younger children (kindergarten is now the new first grade).  One area that I focused on is whether children are developmentally ready to learn the information that is being presented to them or if they are just memorizing the information.
